FAQs

FACIALS

  • Your skin naturally renews itself every 28 days but that process slows as we age. Without regular exfoliation, dead skin cells build up on the surface, leaving your complexion dull, dry, and more prone to fine lines. Monthly facials help reset this cycle by deeply cleansing, exfoliating, and revitalizing your skin. Revealing a smoother, brighter glow underneath.

At Practise Daily, our facials are fully customized to your unique skin type and goals, so every visit supports your long-term skin health.

CONTRAST THERAPY

  • Your session includes 60 minutes in a private suite equipped with a stone sauna, a cold plunge tub, and a shower. You'll also have access to filtered water, two towels, body wash, conditioner, and shampoo. Most clients start by using the sauna, rinse off in the shower, and then go to the cold plunge tub to experience the full benefits of contrast therapy.

  • Yes! You may bring a guest to accompany you in your private suite for an additional fee. Contact us to learn more about adding a plus one to your session.

  • Each session is either 60 or 30 minutes long, depending on what you book.

    • The cold plunge tub water is filtered every 6 minutes to keep the water chemically balanced. The water is also refreshed between sessions after each use. The tubs are completely emptied of water, cleaned with the proper harmless chemicals, and refilled each day. At this time, the filters are also changed.

    • Saunas are cleaned using strong multi-surface disinfectant cleaner after each session and receive a full deep clean weekly. Benches, floors, glass, and high touch areas are also cleaned after each session!

  • Yes, we have a reverse osmosis water station.

  • Yes! You will find two body towels in your private suite before each session. Each suite is also outfitted with PUBLIC GOODS shower products: shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

  • Not a problem! Just call or text us to let us know you will still be arriving at your appointment. Please note that your appointment has a specified start and end time to allow our staff to properly sanitize the suite before the next appointment so you will lose time on your session if you arrive late.

  • A cold plunge tub is a specialized tub designed for immersion in cold water. It is used for cold water therapy, otherwise known as cold plunging.

  • You can use the modalities in any order you’d like! However, according to Dr. Susanna Søberg, the Søberg Principle advises ending contrast therapy sessions with cold exposure in order to maximize the physiological benefits of contrast therapy.

  • Our custom-built Redwood Cedar saunas are heated by a traditional stone system, not infrared. Allowing them to reach higher temperatures for a deeper, more invigorating sweat. Unlike infrared saunas that warm the body superficially, stone saunas heat the air and your entire body evenly, promoting more intense detoxification, improved circulation, deeper muscle relaxation, and greater cardiovascular benefits.

The natural redwood cedar not only provides a calming, aromatic experience but also resists moisture and bacteria. Creating a clean, grounding environment for your wellness ritual.

SAFETY

  • The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends against using saunas throughout pregnancy. Raising the core body temperature in pregnant women is linked to poorer pregnancy outcomes. ACOG recommends that pregnant women avoid letting their core body temperature rise above 102.2º F, which can occur in just 10-20 minutes of hot air immersion. Please seek guidance from your physician.Description text goes here

  • The Søberg Principle advises spending 10-20 minutes in the sauna for each cycle. This is typically followed by 1-5 minutes in the cold plunge, and the full cycle is repeated 2-3 more times per visit.

  • Yes! You can safely use an infrared sauna after a workout. However, it’s important to follow best practices to maximize benefits and avoid risks. Use caution after a vigorous intensity workout, especially.

  • Our hot stone saunas are designed to deliver a deep, full-body sweat by reaching temperatures between 160°F and 195°F, offering a more intense heat than infrared. The radiant warmth from the stones evenly heats the entire space, promoting detoxification, muscle relief, and cardiovascular stimulation. Your private suite allows you to adjust the heat to your comfort level for a customized, revitalizing experience.

  • Our cold plunges are set between 40 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • From a physiology perspective, an infrared sauna session increases your core body temperature. Your core body temperature is already elevated if you have a fever. It is best to rest, stay hydrated, and wait until your fever subsides before using a sauna.

BENEFITS

    • Deeper, Full-Body Detoxification
Stone saunas generate higher ambient heat than infrared, helping to induce a deep, purifying sweat that supports the body’s natural detox process.

    • Improved Circulation & Heart Health
The intense heat causes your blood vessels to dilate, improving circulation and stimulating cardiovascular function—like a light cardio workout.

    • Enhanced Muscle Recovery
Heat relaxes tight muscles and joints, reducing soreness and speeding up post-workout recovery.

    • Mental Clarity & Stress Relief
The dry, radiant heat calms the nervous system, lowers cortisol levels, and promotes a deep sense of relaxation and clarity.

    • Boosted Immune Function
Regular sauna use can increase white blood cell production, helping your body fight off illness and inflammation more effectively.

    • Skin Purification
Sweating deeply unclogs pores and flushes out impurities, leading to clearer, more radiant skin.

    • Supports Lymphatic Drainage
Heat stimulates lymphatic flow, reducing fluid retention and supporting detox at a cellular level.

    • Natural Aromatherapy
When combined with redwood cedar, stone saunas offer a grounding, aromatic environment that enhances the sensory experience.
